The BrytonUpdate works with the device, but the BrytonBridge 2 doesn't find it. So what's the problem and how can it be fixed?

Based on the information I've gathered from multiple websites, the BrytonBridge is working only with Rider 30 and Rider 50. A new version of the software (can't check on the website since it has errors) might support other devices, that's why it doesn't detect it.
I recommend staying with the first version especially if you have one of those devices.
The download size of the BrytonBridge is 23 MB. After it's installed, the application expands to a total of 57.2 MB. You can see in the image attached below the exact size on disk.
When will Bryton Bridge be updated for El Capitan? Until that, my Rider is useless.

There is already a Mac version of the software, but it's not specified if it works on El Capitan or not. The file is in PKG format and can be downloaded using the following link: http://www.brytonsport.com/help/start
If the software refuses to install, then use the following email to contact the developers/manufacturers: [email protected]
